My '06 Venox cuts out when shifted into gear and I think it's the side stand switch. Can a part from a Kymco Grand Dink work or are they shaped totally different?

Just a heads up, the Grand Dink side stand switch won't work on your Venox, it's got a different shape and connector. Trust me, I tried swapping parts once, and it ended up being a total headache. I had to order the exact OEM switch for my bike in the end, and honestly, it's just way easier to get the right part from the start. If you're looking for it, eBay's got you covered! Alternatively, you could go for a side stand eliminator if you want to skip that whole thing

You just saved me a ton of trouble with my Grand Dink idea lol
The eliminator idea's interesting since this is an older bike. Is that a complicated install or just a simple wiring bypass?

Nah, it's a plug and play so you'll be done in 10 to 15 minutes. Just know that this tricks the computer into thinking the stand is up and won't kill the engine if you forget to put it down.
