Hello everyone, thank you for having me on the forum.
It’s exciting to have a new Kymco forum since the old one really didn’t work too good. So now a little bit about me I am celebrating my 44th wedding anniversary today! And through those 44 years I have owned hundreds of motorcycles and scooters. I did realize about 10 years ago that this was not normal? I did not realize that most people only own a few motorcycles in their lifetime. Unlike me I had to buy a couple every year sometimes up to eight motorcycles in one year. So I have a very serious problem. It’s called Motorcycle addiction. There is no known cure and you just have to suffer with it and I feel sorry for other men who have this problem.
So now a bit about my Scooter addiction, which is also a very strong issue that I have to deal with. I’m doing better though I haven’t bought a new scooter in a long time. In fact, I believe it’s been two years since I bought a scooter. I always try to buy used and I’m always looking for a good deal. Something that I can keep or sell and not lose my ass on. The last scooter that I sold was a 2022 people 150 that was basically brand new when I bought it and I sold it for a small profit and got to ride it for a while to compare to my Honda ADV 150. At the same time I also had a Vespa 150 that also got sold, though it’s still in my garage. The lady never picked it up. I also bought a.Kymco Campenero 100 I think it’s called. It’s a fun little thing. I’ll do 50 miles an hour no problem. My wife loves it.
That’s so far my favorite Kymco is my 2021 AK 550 in Absolute wonderful big Scooter that is a great touring bike and or just buzzing around town. I’m definitely fond of the low seat height long seat for stretch stretching out and the great motor. She currently has around 10,000 miles on it and it’s been nothing but a great bike I would buy it again. I’d love to hear from some people who have bought one of the new premiums and see what they think of it?
So if there’s somebody from Pennsylvania New Jersey area that would like to go riding just PM me and we could take a spin.

Hey! Welcome aboard, and happy anniversary. Haha, "motorcycle addiction" you're in the right place. 8 bikes in a year? That's dedication right there. Pretty sure half the people here have the same "problem" so you'll fit right in. Love that your wife is still cool with all this after 44 years AND hundreds of bikes. She's definitely a keeper! That AK 550 sounds sweet. 10k miles with no issues is exactly what people want to hear about. You should drop some pics and thoughts in the AK 550 section when you get a chance. And I was wondering at the Vespa still sitting in your garage. What's the story there? Haha.

Anyway, glad you're here! Hope you connect with some local riders.

It’s only a matter of time before 2-Wheel addiction becomes a serious medical problem, while at the same time the provider of therapy for numerous issues as well. As the wise philosopher, sage and poet Homer Simpson once said,

‘Alcohol is the cause and solution of all problems … ‘

The same could be said for riding.

I live in the South New Jersey/Philadelphia area. I wonder if we are close to one another?
